Couple great spot for getaway
The hosts were extremely welcoming and offered great tips about the local hikes. The breakfast was a highlight, top quality food beautifully presented and just what you need to start the day right.

Small sizes of rooms can feel cramped on longer stays!!! Weak shower water pressure makes for a less than satisfying bathing experience!!! Wi-Fi connectivity issues could be frustrating for those needing reliable internet access!!!

Solo traveler’s perfect hideaway
The breakfast is amazing! They use quality ingredients and it’s a great start to the day. The owners were super friendly, they even dried my wet clothes after a day of hiking!
It wasn't the cheapest stay, but it was still a worthwhile experience.

Had a great time with friends! We loved the clean, comfortable rooms and the fresh breakfast. The location made it easy for us to walk into town and the free parking was a plus. We enjoyed sailing and kayaking at Derwentwater Marina, and the owners were super helpful with tips and local advice.
